RARA is delighted to offer this 10 day mountain crossing by road-bike. The 827km that traverse the legendary French Pyrenees range, take you from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. Starting and finishing at sea level, the Raid takes in 16,000m of climbing over 28 significant climbs.

Whilst the peaks of the Pyrenees are generally lower than those of the Alps, the passes are often higher, steeper and many cyclists say more romantic. This classic, unforgettable ride combines long distances with steep slopes, summer heat, isolated villages and stupendous mountain scenery. It's a tour for those who like the challenge of hills, hills and more hills with all the rewards and beauty they bring.
