RARA ACTIVITIES

The Motivational Activity Break allows the group to experience 2 incredible activity centres. At each centre there are conference facilities so that you can combine any of the activites at the centre with the training or meetings that you had scheduled for the trip. Within the 2 centres there are 7 different activities to choose from, so there is something for everyone to really help revitalise your team.

EIA MOTOR SPORTS CENTRE

Hidden amongst the trees in the heart of the Normandy countryside, the centre has four different motor sport areas.

On the sports car driving track, you can get behind the wheel of fast cars choose from a Lotus Elise, Lotus 7 or a Renault spider sport. A quad biking circuit winds through woodlands, meadows and fields on a mixture of fast and technical trails that will test your nerve and driving skills. A go-karting track allows you to race each other in a grand prix style competition. There are 3 rounds of 10 laps, a qualifying race, a semi final and a final, with the fastest 3 people in the final having the honour of taking to the podium to receive their accolade. There is a BMW skid-pan area where you can learn to skid and slide around in a controlled manner.

AJ HACKETT BUNGY CENTRE

This centre is a destination in itself, so if you don't choose to jump you can share the build up to the big event by encouraging your colleague or boss as they enjoy these adrenaline fueled jumps. Choose to watch the action on a huge screen in the café-bar, or if you feel daring walk to where the action takes place. To reach the jump platform, walk across a narrow bridge suspended a massive 61 metres above the ground, and enjoy stunning views over the wooded river valley below. The suspension bridge is supported by immense stone columns, originally built as part of a railway viaduct designed by Gustave Eiffel, the architect responsible for the Eiffel Tower. An historic walk beneath the viaduct describes the history of the structure.

For jumpers there are three great activities Bungy, Scable and the Giant Swing:

From 61 metres up, your Bungy Jump can be taken solo or tandem and you can choose the style of fall from classic, crazy or extreme. From when you stand on the platform until you are lowered to the river-bank below, fizzing with elation from your jump, a professional photographer will record your experience.

Another activity is the Scable, a 400m long flying fox that may also be taken in tandem. Once you've run off the starting ramp into the air, the zip wire carries you down and then up the other side of the valley, reaching speeds of up to 100km per hour.

The third high-adrenaline activity is the Giant Swing. Flying solo or in the company of 1 or 2 friends, you are pulled in 'superman' pose to a height of 55m. You release the chord and drop through the air, feeling the G-force until the cable takes hold and swings you out like a pendulum.
